Your Child's First Visit
The first visit is all about getting comfortable and building a foundation of trust. During the appointment, we will:
- Review your child's medical and dental history
- Gently examine their teeth and gums
- Take digital X-rays if appropriate
- Clean and polish their teeth
- Observe oral development, breathing patterns, and oral posture
- Answer any questions you have along the way
If we notice anything related to growth, function, or airway development that may benefit from a closer look, we will walk you through what we are seeing and guide you on any recommended next steps.
What to Bring
Getting ready for your visit is simple. Just bring:
- Completed patient forms
- Your insurance card, if applicable
We will handle everything else from there.
Routine Checkups
Consistent dental visits play an important role in keeping your child's smile on track. We typically recommend checkups every six months to monitor development, provide professional cleanings, and support ongoing preventive care. At each visit, we also continue observing oral development and breathing patterns as part of our whole-child approach to care.
